A remarkable foundation conceived & driven by a remarkable woman to 'provide a safe haven for children, irrespective of race or creed, who are in need of medical or emotional support'.
The Rotary Club of Balwyn is just one of the many Rotary clubs which has over the years sponsored the work of the Children First Foundation and it's Executive Director, Victorian of the Year for 2003, Ms Moira Kelly, AO. In 2002 the club committed $100,000 for the setup of a permanent Melbourne office and professional staff to support the Foundation’s operations.
Rotary is privileged to sponsor visionary organizations like Children First with their ideals of a world where all peoples are linked by our shared humanity. The Foundation’s care for the smallest and weakest of our brothers and sisters is "sowing the seeds of love" in practical action. It points the way to a better future for us all.
